Lecture 5: Can Nuclear Compete Given Decarbonization?
In this lecture, we see how to compute the cost-optimized technology blends for the electric grid. Results are given for how the optimal blend of technologies changes as the grid is decarbonized, and we discuss the realistic role for nuclear in decarbonizing the U.S. grid.
